Recent Work

I find the creative process is a form of play. I start with a color of wax that resonates on a particular day. My encaustic paintings (pigmented beeswax and damar resin), photography, and acrylics reflect how I the see the world, as essences or abstractions. Encaustic is an ancient fluid medium which involves the melting of beeswax, painting, fusing with heat and then repeating the process.
