The creative process is a reflection of finding ease. I start by choosing a color of wax that resonates. My encaustic paintings and photography reflect how I the see the world, as essences or abstractions. As an ancient fluid medium encaustic involves the melting of beeswax, painting, fusing with heat and then repeating the process multiple times.
