Recent Work

I find the creative process is a form of play. I start by choosing a color of wax that resonates. My encaustic paintings and photography reflect how I the see the world, as essences or abstractions. As an ancient fluid medium encaustic involves the melting of beeswax, painting, fusing with heat and then repeating the process multiple times—a many layered process.
