My deep reverence for the beauty in the world and what it evokes in us inspires me to create. I find photography and embellishing those photographs with tactile methods (see encaustics), as well as using my images and handmade papers to create, is healing. I find myself turning toward these elements, they allow me to “touch” on more subtle levels thereby creating a spaciousness within. That felt sense in turn translates to a deeper appreciation.
